The Business & Financial Affairs division (BFA) is committed to Western Washington University's mission of making a positive impact in the state and the world with a shared focus on academic excellence and inclusive achievement. Over 400 employees in seven units support Western’s mission and strategic plan by providing a wide range of human, fiscal, and capital services.

The Western Bookstore supports student success by providing course materials, supplies, Western-branded merchandise, and other essential retail services to the campus community.
Campus Recreation Services
Campus Recreation Services promotes health and well-being by offering inclusive recreation, fitness, and wellness programs that enhance student life and build community.
Child Development Center
The Child Development Center provides high-quality, developmentally appropriate early childhood education and care for the children of Western students, faculty, and staff.
Conference Services
Conference Services supports Western’s mission by coordinating on-campus lodging, meeting spaces, and event services for university groups and external partners.
Dining Services
Dining Services nourishes the Western community with diverse, sustainable, and convenient dining options that support student success and campus engagement.
Facilities Development & Operations
Facilities Development and Operations combines the university's two main facilities functions, Capital Planning and Development and Facilities Management.
