Facilities Development & Operations

Facilities Development and Operations combines the university's two main facilities functions: Capital Planning and Development and Facilities Management. The decision to merge the units was made with the goal of further streamlining to ensure a smooth delivery of services including site acquisition, planning, budgeting, design, construction, operations, space management, maintenance and renewal of the university's buildings, infrastructure, and grounds. The department is also be responsible for the strategic management of the public sector capital, budget proposal requests, mixed capital resource projects, and operational financial systems to support these functions.
